Privacy Policy
How kmceagles.com handles personal data. This policy is written for the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German TDDDG, and U.S. state privacy laws including the California Consumer Privacy Act. The binding German version follows the English text.
Effective 25 September 2026. Summary: this site sets no cookies, shows no consent banner, sells no personal information and stores no player contact details. Third-party content loads only when you ask for it.
1. Who is responsible

We never store player email addresses, phone numbers, ranks or units on this website. Attendance and team communication run in Spond (Spond AS, Norway) under Spond's own privacy policy.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
This site sets no cookies of its own. Your theme choice, map consent and translation choice are kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us. You can clear them in your browser settings. Because no information is stored on or read from your device beyond what is strictly necessary, no consent banner is required under § 25 TDDDG.
4. Content that loads on request
- Maps. Map tiles come from the OpenStreetMap Foundation (United Kingdom) only after you press Load map. Your IP address is then sent to their servers. The map software (Leaflet) is hosted by us.
- Facebook and YouTube. Embedded posts and videos load only after you click. Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. or Google Ireland Ltd. then receive your IP address and may set their own cookies.
- Translation. The language button loads the GTranslate widget (GTranslate Inc., USA), which uses Google Translate. Page content and your IP address are sent to Google, which usually sets a cookie named
googtransto remember the language.
Legal basis for all three is your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a), § 25(1) TDDDG), given by the click.
5. Service providers
- Cloudflare, Inc. (USA; EU office Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Munich): hosting, form relay, spam protection (Turnstile), access control for the coaches area. Certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; standard contractual clauses apply.
- Web3Forms: delivers contact-form messages to the club's email inbox and does not retain them.
- Buttondown, LLC (USA): newsletter delivery. Open and click tracking are switched off.
- Umami: cookie-free analytics.
- BunnyWay d.o.o. (Slovenia): delivers the heading font without logging IP addresses.
Where data leaves the European Economic Area it is protected by the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
6. Your rights (EU and UK)
You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, restriction of processing, data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest or withdraw consent at any time (GDPR Art. 15–21). Email webmaster@kmceagles.com. You may also complain to a supervisory authority; ours is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz.
7. Your rights (United States)
Residents of California and other U.S. states with privacy laws have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion or correction, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for advertising, and we do not use it for targeted advertising or profiling. We honour Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out. Requests can be made by email; we will verify them through the email address on file and respond within 45 days. We do not discriminate against anyone who exercises these rights.
8. Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Players must be 16 or older; profiles of players under 18 are published only with a parent's or guardian's consent.
9. Security
All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS with HSTS). Form messages pass through a spam check before delivery and are never written to this site's storage. The coaches area requires a one-time email code.
10. Changes
We update this policy when the site's services change. The effective date at the top is updated with each build.

2. Hosting (Cloudflare Pages)
Beim Aufruf verarbeitet Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA; Cloudflare Germany GmbH, München) technisch notwendige Daten: IP-Adresse, Zeitpunkt, aufgerufene Seite, Browsertyp. Zweck: Auslieferung, Sicherheit, Fehleranalyse. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Cloudflare ist nach dem EU-US Data Privacy Framework zertifiziert; zusätzlich gelten Standardvertragsklauseln.
3. Kontaktformular
Ihre Angaben (Name, E-Mail-Adresse, Nachricht, optionale Felder) werden über den Dienst Web3Forms per E-Mail an das Vereinspostfach weitergeleitet und nicht dauerhaft gespeichert. Zum Spamschutz wird Cloudflare Turnstile eingesetzt, das keine Tracking-Cookies setzt. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO und Ihre Einwilligung (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO), die Sie jederzeit widerrufen können. Löschung nach Abschluss der Anfrage.
4. Newsletter (Buttondown)
Ihre E-Mail-Adresse wird an Buttondown, LLC (USA) übermittelt und bis zur Abmeldung gespeichert. Anmeldung per Double-Opt-in; jede E-Mail enthält einen Abmeldelink. Öffnungs- und Klick-Tracking sind deaktiviert. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO.
5. Reichweitenmessung (Umami)
Umami setzt keine Cookies, erstellt keine Profile und speichert keine IP-Adressen; erfasst werden aggregierte Werte (Seitenaufrufe, Land, Gerätetyp, Verweisquelle). Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO. Da kein Zugriff auf Endgerät-Informationen im Sinne von § 25 TDDDG erfolgt, ist keine Einwilligung erforderlich.
6. Cookies und lokale Speicherung
Diese Website setzt keine eigenen Cookies. Farbschema, Karten- und Übersetzungsauswahl werden im lokalen Speicher Ihres Browsers abgelegt und nicht an uns übertragen.
7. Schriften (Bunny Fonts)
Die Überschriftenschrift wird von BunnyWay d.o.o. (Slowenien) ausgeliefert, ohne Speicherung von IP-Adressen und ohne Cookies. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
8. Inhalte, die erst nach Klick geladen werden
Karten (OpenStreetMap Foundation, Großbritannien), Facebook-Beiträge (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.), YouTube-Videos (Google Ireland Ltd.) und die Übersetzung (GTranslate Inc., USA, mit Google Translate) werden erst nach Ihrem Klick geladen. Dabei werden Ihre IP-Adresse und gegebenenfalls Seiteninhalte an den jeweiligen Anbieter übermittelt; Google setzt in der Regel das Cookie „googtrans“. Rechtsgrundlage: Ihre Einwilligung, Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO, § 25 Abs. 1 TDDDG.
9. Kalender-Abonnement und Suche
Die Kalenderdateien enthalten nur Termine. Die Website-Suche arbeitet vollständig im Browser; Suchbegriffe werden nicht übermittelt. Das Vorabladen von Seiten (instant.page) betrifft ausschließlich kmceagles.com.
10. Spielerprofile und Spond
Name, Trikotnummer, Position und optional Foto und Herkunftsort aktiver Spieler werden nur mit deren Einverständnis veröffentlicht (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. a DSGVO) und auf Wunsch entfernt. Kontaktdaten, Dienstgrade oder Einheiten werden auf der Website nicht gespeichert. Anwesenheit und Teamkommunikation laufen über Spond (Spond AS, Norwegen) nach dessen Datenschutzhinweisen.
11. Trainerbereich
Der Bereich /coaches/ ist über Cloudflare Access geschützt; gespeichert werden E-Mail-Adresse und Anmeldezeitpunkt berechtigter Trainer. Rechtsgrundlage: Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO.
12. Ihre Rechte
Sie haben das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch (Art. 15–21 DSGVO) sowie das Recht auf Beschwerde bei einer Aufsichtsbehörde; zuständig ist der Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Rheinland-Pfalz.
